Our carefully tended cottages have been in our family for two generations and are now opened to guests

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide country experiences for guests to help them connect with each other and the local environment, as well as to provide a quiet place for people to rest or work on their business, art, or writing projects. Children and adults who live in cities and suburbs learn where food comes from and how it grows by picking fruits and tending plots of kitchen gardens, perhaps bringing back some ideas to create their own indoor or outdoor urban gardens. The 150-acre property includes maple trees that can produce maple syrup, a large kitchen herb garden, raspberries, tomatoes, and a wide range of other fruits and vegetables. Staying at the cottages also benefits the local economy in a small way, because the cottages support local business and local people repair and maintain the cottages.
